This is my personal dome home located in Martin Georgia nestled near the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is 8 minutes from Tugalow State Park, 15 minutes from Walmart, and 15 minutes from Interstate 85.
It has three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a utility "room." Modified slightly from Monolithic's Ariel II - 3 bedroom, I designed this house to be very efficient -- although it is considered to be a starter home, best suited for a younger family of four. This house is well designed to make the most of the space. An "attic" storage area makes the rest of the house to be very livable.
The outside has been painted with a specially formulated elastomeric paint. (This is the same paint applied to two Lakemont domes.) This paint is so pliable when applied that it puts all other paints that are labeled elastomeric to shame. This paint will protect the dome for ten years and even more with minimal maintenance.
The reddish color you see below is only the undercoat. The top coat is available in an assortment of colors.
I also built an awning to keep the rain off as I fumble for my keys. This awning is created from pressure treated wood and coated with fabric to blend with the architecture.
This dome is now for sale with one to five acres of land. Additional information can be found by clicking on
